Les Roches Blanches, Hôtel 5 étoiles, CASSIS

Built in 1887 on the seafront, this former manor house takes its name, "Les Roches Blanches" (The White Rocks), from the limestone cliffs that line the coast from Cassis to Marseille. Located just past the marina, it enjoys an exceptional setting between the village and the Calanques, with breathtaking views of the majestic cliffs of Cap Canaille.

It wasn't until the early 1920s that the property was transformed into a hotel and opened to the public. Winston Churchill and then Édith Piaf were among its guests.
